Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and CoolBox ("we", "us") about using the CoolBox website and designer. By creating an account or using CoolBox, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use CoolBox.

Your account

An account is for one person and is reached by sign-in links sent to your email address, so keep that mailbox secure. You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. We may block or delete an account that breaks these terms.

Plans and trials

Plans are one-time purchases in US dollars that add days of access to your account. Nothing renews by itself. Access codes give a short free trial, one per account, ever. Which features each plan includes may change over time. When plans are on sale, payments are handled by our payment provider, which may show its own terms at checkout. See Refunds and cancellation.

Your designs are your responsibility

You own the designs you make with CoolBox, and you are solely responsible for them: for checking every design before you print it, for how it is printed, and for how the printed result is used. Measurements, fit checks and warnings in CoolBox are aids only. They can be wrong, and they are not a promise that a design will print, fit or work.

Intellectual property

CoolBox, including its software, name, logo, pages and pictures, belongs to us. While your account is in good standing you may use CoolBox to make designs for yourself. You may not copy, resell, rent or reverse-engineer CoolBox, collect its content automatically, or use it to build a competing service.

You must respect other people's intellectual property. Do not put trademarks, logos, copyrighted artwork or text, or any other material you do not have the right to use into your designs. We may remove access to CoolBox if we receive a credible complaint about a design.

Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or try to break into CoolBox, share your account, or use CoolBox for anything unlawful.

No warranty

CoolBox is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that CoolBox will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for your designs or for any damage or loss that comes from using CoolBox or anything made with it, including damage to printers, materials, property or games, personal injury, and lost data, time or profits. Our total liability for any claim about CoolBox is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that come from your designs, from what you make with them, or from your breaking these terms, including any claim that a design infringes someone else's rights.

Changes

We may change CoolBox or these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top changes. Using CoolBox after a change means you accept the new terms.
